I'm trying to restore some files from a NAS device (Drobo5N) to a different computer, because the original machine is temporarily unavailable. I'm able to locate the backup files on the NAS device and select the ones I want, but when I start the restore process I get a series of messages of the following kind:. In the end nothing is restored. There are certainly no files in the backup set with those filenames, although there is one with the name "DEMOCRITUSD(D)DrivetoNetworkDrive.[DEMOCRITUS_BACKUP].previous.aibrecover". Any idea of what's going on?
The .aisbrecover file contains the database for the previous backup in case something goes wrong with the ‘current’ backup. AISBackup will be updated to prevent this file from being used when reinstating a backup as it is not a file that contains backup data – so this is a bug.
