Network backup job generates infinite backup of some files.

Post by BartK »

A daily network (NAS) backup job selects all the time the same files (not all but 10 files). Files have no Modified Date displayed in Explorer but the Modified Date is for all files 13 december 1901. Is this a Windows specialty?

Zero date

Post by Barry »

I believe the date in te file is set to zero. I have a program that will enable you to change the date modified - is €1000 okay - or do you want it for free?

Thx for the tip, free would be nice... But, why are the files selected again and again?

Change date modified program

Post by Barry »

The program to change the date modified is in the zip file:

http://www.aiscl.co.uk/date/AISDateMod.zip

The date modified on your files is invalid, AISBackup treats these files as always changed. Similar to opened exclsive files, these are also treated as always changed.
