Uninstall

Post by vitting »

After uninstalling the product, an AISBackup Uninstall message: AISBackup was successfully removed from your computer, is shown.

However several files and folders are left in the install location.

The user should be advised to manually remove the files.

Uninstalling AISBackup

Post by Barry »

Thank you for raising this problem.

The un-install program has been updated to remove all files and folders used by AISBackup. We do ask if the database which holds the Backup Contents Files should be deleted, this is to cover people removing AISBackup prior to re-installing it – I guess they would not like to lose a copy of their backup information.

Apart from the database mentioned above, the uninstall process removes all files including the AISBackup key file issued to registered users. For technical people: AISBackup has un-registered the COM interface of the Cue Card system from version 1.9.
