Option to use server IP addres for Passive FTP

L.S.,

in a passive FTP connection the FTP server will send a PORT a,b,c,d,e,f response to the client where a,b,c,d indicate the IP address and e,f the port number to use.

If the server is behind a router/firewall some servers have an option to use the router public IP address in the PORT response, but other do not.

FTP clients like FileZilla are able to detect this problem (receiving a PORT response with a non-routable IP address in an passive FTP connection) and in this case will use the public IP address of the server (actually the public IP addres of the router it is hidden behind)

Can AISbackup in the FTP settings in a job have the option, when Passive FTP is used, to use an alternative FTP address/hostname to replace the IP address received in a PORT response, please?

Let me know if you need additional information.

Best regards,

Arie
