Great proggy BUT ;-)

Post by Ruud »

Hey, I'm a newbee with this software but after using it for about half an hour I'm already very satisfied with it. There's just one tiny thing (or actually two) which bugs me.

Why do we always need to manually load a script by hitting the button (can't that be done on selecting the script?). And why doesn't the program remember which script was used last but instead uses the last entered script (if I understand it well)???

All together a great program!!

Possible work around.....

Hi Ruud

The load script option is there because it takes quite a long time to load some scripts.

The scripts are shown in alphabetical order.

The way around these issues is to create a desktop shortcut to run the backup job, this is done via the Tools / Auto Running AISBackup option or via the [MORE] button when you create a backup job (script).

The next release of AISBackup will have two new Manage Backup options:

Create Shortcut for this script ...

and

Auto Run this script (MS Task Scheduler) ...

Which should simplify these options.

Hi,

Thanx a lot, those shortcuts work great, especially if you have only TWO scrips running..

Looking forward to the new version :-)
