Linux ext2/ext3 support
Linux ext2/ext3 support
Any chance of being able to directly backup files on my Linux partitions? There is code freely available to enable reading from these partitions and it would help me with my computer backups.
Backup Linux drives
AISBackup can access Linux drives over a network (e.g. Samba) and there are third party tools to allow access to Linux drives on the local PC (for example, a dual boot environment)

However, I can see a problem in that Linux filenames are case senstive, so we would have to do some work here. There may be issues backing up Linux security information (equivalent to NTFS access rights etc), however, this probably does not matter for data backups.
