Have just upgraded to 2.4 but nearly missed the notification - I'm sure I have a memory of this button being highlighted when there was a new release available.

Most of my jobs are auto-run, so I don't get to see the notification on the main form. Is it possible to add something like a bubble notice in the systray when a new version is available?

Yes, I have seen many PC's with Release Available button on the main form which apparently goes un-noticed, perhaps the interactive interface should display a pop-up (user discardable via a ‘do not display this message again’ option) when a new release is available.
