Greetings Aquarius I. S.!

I am a paying user, and have found your backup program the best for especially remote backup to a FTP server.

Suggestion: is it possible to get AISBackup to backup to eg. my Gmail, or another server with SMTP and POP3 support - eg like vombato's Mail Drive can: http://www.vombato.com/vombato.html or the PhpGmailDrive http://pgd.sourceforge.net/
See also http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm

The basic idea is of course, that eg. Gmail and hotmail offers gigabytes for free and that they are a ideal backup solution since they also backup and are remote.

Yours sincerely,
Casper

AISBackup can already backup to an e-mail address. It splits a disk based backup into a number of file attachments as most ISP's limit the size an of attachment. There are settings to limit the size of each attachment and overall backup size.

Select New Job / Next / Backup to E-mail / ....

To restore you 'receive' the e-mails then drag and drop each attachment onto AISBackup.
