I just made an aisbackup USB boot disk. It booted up fine in BIOS,
but I had no mouse or keyboard. The only thing I could do was select
the keyboard type. Had to power off the pc to get out of the menu. No other
keys worked and pc restart button didn't either.
How can I get the mouse (usb) or keyboard (PS/2) working?
OS: Windows 7 home premium
Bios: American Megatrends vF5 (2014)
Thanks, Paul
ps- Pretty sure the boot disk is correct:
No keyboard / mouse on boot menu
I checked, and the mouse is in a v2 usb port on the back.
The blue usb v3 ports are unused.
I got it temp. fixed by going into bios and changing the
Fast boot (off) option to on, then a usb boot menu appeared
below that, so I set it to on. But I had to change the settings
back or it wouldn't boot to c drive normally.
I'm giving up on this recovery procedure and just using an
ms recovery dvd if failure occurs, then once in windows
use AISbackup to restore the last full c: backup.
