Backing up the backup

Post by Brian »

Currently I have a daily backup of my system.
I want to make a weekly backup of the whole hard disk containing those backups to another hard disk.

The result should be a simple one-on-one copy. The source backup is about 2TB so only the changes should be backupped.
I searched the options but all seem to zip the already zipped files.

Does AIS support something like that? If so what it's called?

Regards,

Brian.

Backing up a backup

The disk to disk copy option should be used to copy the backup to another disk; an external drive could be used for this purpose.

New Job / Select 'You choose what to backup' as the source and then click the copy / clone disk option.

If you choose to schedule the copy you may choose to remove deleted files from the destination without being asked.
