I have purchased AISBackup and installed the CDWriter Interface, but I do not get the options specified like the help file indicates. Nor does it want to "format" a CDR for me like I believe it should.

The CD Writer Interface can only be used to copy disk based backups to CD. I guess you can see the menu options but they are disabled.
If you cannot see the menu options check that CDWriter.exe has been placed in the AISBackup program folder, this is normally c:\program files\aquarius is consultancy\aisbackup.
Select and load a disk based backup then look at Manage Backup / Copy Backup To CD
The CD writer uses blank CD's, they must not be formatted. You can use the CD Writer to erase CD-RW.
