This is the first time I do a backup with version 2.9(400) for my Vista Home Premium on my DELL Laptop 6400 and I think? it failed.

I made a Windows System backup including the Program Files folder and AISbackup made 4 DVD but on the last DVD and during the "writing lead out" it went on and on for more than 12 minutes with the progress bar going back and forth. Finally I hit the abort key but noticed on the log saying that "Finished Mastering DVD4"

How do I know if this backup is good or not and why the writing lead out was taking so long?

AISBackup is waiting for a message from the CD/DVD writer that the disc is complete; for whatever reason this was not received. If the disc loads correctly in Windows you may test the backup using the Tools / Validate (Test) Backup option at any time after a backup completes.
