Windows No Disk

Post by Duncan »

When I attempt to create a new job using the New Job tab, I get the following error: Windows No Disk Exception Processing Message. But when I create a new job using the Custom Job tab, I do not get this error.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled AISBackup, to no avail.

I am running WinXP SP3.

TIA for any help that anyone can provide.

No disk exception

Does the new job show at all - even if it is blank?

Some disk corruptions may cause an error like this it may be worth running a check disk on the installed disks (from explorer right click the disk choose properties / Tools / Check Now).

If there are some external drives connected try rem, oving these first (just to see if the new job form is displayed then)

The new job shows everything needed, which makes me think the No Disk error is spurious.

No Disk

Is this the Cancel, Try Again, Continue error message?

If it is then this will be fixed in the next release, but it would help if you let me know where the message pops up - before the display, after clicking a source of beckup or after clicking the destination of backup.

It comes immediately after clicking a source of the backup.

I can send you a screen print if that would help, and yes, it is the Cancel, Try Again, or Continue error message.

Thanks.

I think this is fixed now (build 400), is it?

If not please e-mail a screen shot to customerservices@aiscl.co.uk

Hi Duncan, were you able to figure this out yet? I would suggest to send a screen shot as well.
You're never a loser until you quit trying. Image
