Barry, I don't have this option in build 398:
AISBackup Tools / Extra Tools / Burn ISO Image - and I was running it in Administrator Mode.

CD & DVD writer
I guess the installed drive can write CDs and DVDs?
The option to make boot drives does not validate the fact that a disc writer is installed so this will explain why the CD has not been made. This will be changed to give a meaningful error message.
Try the Tools / Program Settings and Options / Troubleshoot CD/DVD writer faults option to check that the disc writer has been detected properly.
My other suggestion of using a third party program to burn the iso file AISBackupRestoreCD to CD should also be tried.

Yes, my CD/DVD drive can burn disks and I have made the disaster restore disk using CDBurner XP and Nero Version 10. In an email (that's the only way I know of to send you a screenshot) I show the screen that pops up when I use the option you suggested above. Guess I still don't understand why my AISBackup doesn't show that I can burn an ISO.
