I just wanted to report an error that is displaying.
I changed the backup destination, and chose to copy the files.
For each file I copy I get following error:

Code: Select all

Comontent: DirStruct1
Exception: EConvertError: Invalid argument to date encode
This is on a Windows Server 2008 R2 without SP.

Did this copy work the second time?

Which regional settings is the PC set to?

Is this a local copy or is the source / destination using a differnt regional setting?

The copy worked the first time. So for me there was not problem (Except for the message).

The copy was from one network share to another.
The server backed up is Win 2008 RTM SP2, English
The original network share is on a Win XP SP3 computer, French.
The destination network share is on a NAS appliance (Iomega StorCenter ix4-200d, firmware version 2.1.38.22294) in Active Directory Domain mode, in English.
Sorry for that complicated setup. I'm not sure these indication will help.

I think the problem may be when switching between French and English dates. Some tests need to be run here.

Are the dates on the destination correect or are the dates all set to the time of the copy?

Hello Barry,

The file creation dates on the destination system seem all correct.
I think, this error was only informational.
