Inert command line generator

Post by Hughg »

I'm trying to set up an automated job using the command line generator. I choose a script, and it appears in the top window in the generator, with a row of "No"s and "Yes"s filled in. However, all the checkboxes are greyed out and the box showing the command doesn't have any parameters. When I put it into the MS Scheduler, there are no parameters, so of course when the Scheduler runs the job all that happens is that AISBackup starts up and then just sits there and looks at me. I'm obviously doing something really dumb -- what is it?

Command Line generator

Hi Hugh

You are not doing anything wrong, the last beta does not allow new backup jobs to be installed except via the new Manage Backup / Auto Run... option. This has been fixed and an updated beta version will be uploaded soon.

Hi Barry

100% for tact and diplomacy :)

Of course, if I'd scanned the menus, I'd have found that new item. It works well, thanks.

Cheers
Hugh
