Testing backup on ftp server

I want to validate the backed-up data on an ftp server, so I selected Manage Backup > Validate (Test) Backup. What it does, however, is test the backup on the local machine, not the versions of the zip files that have been uploaded to the ftp server. Is there a way of getting AISBackup to check the files on the ftp server?

An option will be added to AISBackup to do this.

As a work around, and if you have enough space on the disk you could temporarily move the existing zip files to another folder, AISBackup will then download the ftp copy for testing.
