Menu problems

Post by jwc »

On the menu administration I disabled Tools/Edit windows boot menu option,
but it still shows up on the menu. Even tried the reset button and started
over again, but it shows up no matter what. Any ideas?

Hide Boot Menu options

Post by Barry »

This looks like it is a bug - it is disabled so you cannot use it ;-)

This has been fixed for the next release

Do you mean it's going to be disabled on next build?
Mine is Enabled, I can edit the boot menu. (win xp home sp2)

Boot Menu

Post by Barry »

Actually the tests showed the boot menu option was disabled, but not hidden if that option was selected. Perhaps you could check this option out just prior to the next release?

I just checked it out today. If I check the "hide disabled options" box and it (the edit boot menu section) is checked "disable", it shows up as a active menu choice. If I un-check the "hide disabled options" box, then that menu item is greyed out on the menu.
