Renamed file deleted in both way synchronization

I renamed a file (by right clicking the file and selecting rename) because I had inadvertantly put wrong year in the file name. I orginally saved it as Qwest200801.pdf but should have saved it as Qwest200901.pdf instead. However, the next time the sync job ran it deleted the renamed file from the source and deleted the original file name from the destination. It should have copied the renamed file from the source to the destination and deleted the original from the destination. A copy of the log file is below:

This problem was discussed by e-mail exchange.

The bottom line is that if a file is renamed it retains its date modified date so it looks to AISBackup that on the other side of the synchronize, if the file is not also renamed there, that the file does not exist, it is therefore marked as a candidate for deletion.

If a file is renamed then either rename the file on the ‘other side’ of the synchronize job or use the menu option Manage Backup / Change Last Synchronize Date and then click Reset.
