If I exclude (more) files from a backup job, when will they be removed from the already existing sessions?
- the next time the job is run?
- when the session expires?
- never?
- other?

Extra Exclusions are removed from a backup when the sessions they are in expire, and indeed with some settings the session may never expire.

To manually delete the files from the physical backup (and backup contents file) use the Manage Backup / Backup Maintenance / Right click Delete options followed by the Delete buttons (which performs the actual prune operation).
