First impressions a bit worrying!

This looks good and I'd very much like to buy it, but I need some convincing!

Backing up some 50GB from a Lenovo laptop (WinXP Pro, SP3) to a USB2 connected external disc took more than 5 hours and, the first time I tried it, the program stopped responding after about 4 hours. I had to use Ctrl-Alt-Del to stop it and run the whole backup again.

Now I'm trying to remove a previous backup job, and each time I right click on the job I want to remove, type YES and click OK, the program freezes and I have to use Ctrl-Alt-Del to get out. So far, I haven't managed to remove the unwanted job.

Short of re-installing, what do I do? An unreliable backup app is very worrying.

Is the first backup to the same USB drive or a network drive?
