Is a new version of AISBackup still in development? I haven't seen any new updates since Feb and is wondering if Barry has abandoned developing AISBackup for future versions.

Barry, can you confirm? This is a great backup utility and it would be sad to see it getting abandoned.

A pre-release version of AISBackup 2.6.1 will be uploaded soon.
  • 1/ An updated Validate (Test) option, which can be scheduled - and repair faulty backup's if the data still exists on the PC.

2/ An updated disc burner – however the old burner has not been removed in case of new problems.

3/ Lightscribe interface for burning labels with compatible equipment – may also add copy label to clipboard so that other CD/DVD disc labelling systems can be used.

4/ Better support for 64bit Windows – may not be able to get VSS working but initial tests with AISFAM (File access manager) seem to work okay.
