Install-reinstall during evaluation period problem

Hi,
I am a Sysadmin in California. I am currently evaluating the AisBackup for home. My problem is after a hardware configuration change, the program behaved very oddly.

I installed and backed up my system to do some tests 2 days ago. And just happens to be one of the secondary drives died. I was very happy that I had it backed up by luck. However, I must have run out of luck. When I ran the program after installing/formatting a drive, most of the opened window became black. I could only see some input-text fields and when I move the mouse over, I could also see some buttons albeit very hardly(very dark gray over black). I have a copy of the screen if needed.
Reinstalling the program did not solve this puzzle.

I still would like to restore my data too.

Please advise.

AISBackup - black screen

Hi

I was sure that the black screen was cured in the current version of AISBackup, which version are you using?

Hi,
I have solved my problem and my problem is NOT related to AISBackup.

Thank you for your help. After checking with the tip you have given, I realized that my PC had a corrupt registry. HKCU was not readable. With some tinkering, it is up and running again.
