Stray .aic file after resetting backup

Post by IanA »

Have just reset one of my backups and all the files were deleted except for the *.txt.aic file.
When I came to run the backup afresh, it spluttered a little, saying that the backup already contains files & asked for permission to delete them.

Should this file be deleted? and if so, couldn't it be done automatically?

Cheers

In addition...

After resetting the backup I also noticed that the backup and summary log files were still present & that I had to delete them each seperately.

Is it possible for 'reset' to delete or give the option to delete theses files as part of the reset process? - Can't see the value of these files after the backup has been reset, but maybe I'm missing something.

Cheers

The .txt.aic file is a compressed copy of the note and I guess this should not be deleted but ignored if it exists in the backup destination after a reset. I see and update to 2.4 coming......
