When I start restoring to a NTFS drive with compression off the following happens:
AIS creates directories on the destination drive.
But restoring files into those directories fail. -> access denied.
When I check the files attributes of teh created directories I see that compression of the just created directories is on.
Read only of those directories is also selected.
I don't know the exact name so I'll explain.
Read only has 3 states:
Off, grey selected, black selected.
AIS sets the directory to 'grey selected'
I'm running restore over LAN.
Access denied when restoring

Restore
Is this a restore to a mapped drive or restore from a remote computer. Try running the restore on the PC where the folders reside as the required permissions may not be granted.
