Re-locating a backup from removeable media to hard disk

Hello Barry,

I would like to be able to copy a backup from removeable media (in this case a Zip disk) to my hard drive without using the Aquarius Re-Locate option.

Is there any sort of fix I could use so that when the job is re-instated it will work from it's new location? (The program will normally ask for the media on which the original backup was made).

regards,

Richard.

I just tried this by copying a backup from a zip file to hard drive using Windows Explorer. I then used the Tools / Open Job From Backup Media and chose to re-instate the backup. The restore worked without any extra steps. However, if AISBackup complains that it cannot fond the backup (zip) files you can always use the Manage Backup / Validate (Test) Backup option to get AISBackup to reconcile its database.
