Hi,
This is a different backup to my last post; different PC, this time to DVD.
1. Back up saved to temporary file OK (4.3Gb)
2. Asked to delete Files from DVD, said OK
3) Aborted when it can time to write to DVD; said it needed another 7.3GB!

Back Up to DVD aborted with insufficient space (there was)
DVD error
This problem occurred because the original write to DVD failed during the 'lead out' phase. If a DVD is damaged on its edges (and this may be possible because DVD's are handled by their edges - this may cause the problem. Changing the first disc should fix the problem - and AISBackup will re-run this job in its entirety as it is set to run a full backup. By the way did you intend to set the 'Once per day' parameter (O)?
The capacity of a blank DVD should be 4485MB, your job was writing 4483.86MB, and I have checked backup at some jobs here which have written 4484.98MB. You can reduce the capacity by using the Tools / Program Settings and Options / Advanced / CD Overflow Prevention, setting this to 5 will reduce the reported capacity of a DVD by 5MB.
