Not correct Session Type when "copying" a job

When creating a new job and it is based on an existing job, all the parameters and file/folder selections seem to be the same except for the session type which is always 1. Sessions Based.
It seems strange because all the more detailed parameters relating to the original's session type are there.
Is there a reason for this?
