Actually I remember you asking why CD's no longer eject after a backup, the reason was because we were asked to keep the drawer closed owing to damage caused by cleaning staff vacuuming around PC's at night.

Now it appears we should have made this an option, so we will in the next release.

The problem is most likely caused by Windows been in a state whereby it cannot re-read a CD's (or DVD's) contents for reasons only known to itself. There are many third party products that can lock CD's (we do during the backup phase) and if they do not release the disc the contents will not get updated.

I guess this backup usually works?

Ejecting the disc after backup will solve this problem.

Hi Barry

I'm glad this has been restored as an option in build 272. I have set my backups to eject after completion and all seems to be OK now. Thanks.
