unable to backup with missing network-drive

Hi Barry,

my standard backup script includes a network-share from another PC at my site. when the network-PC is down when I load the script AISbackup asks me if I want to continue without the network-drive. When I answer "Yes" I´m still not able to start the backup afterwards. The backup-Button is enabled but nothing happens when I hit it.

Bug or feature?

Hi Markus

This feature was altered in version 1.6, the missing PC is reported to the log and the backup continues.

Please let us know if this solves the problem.

I´m using version 1.6.0.145 with Windows 2000.
When I click on the "Run Backup"-Button AISBackup immediatly reports the missing computer and the missing share in the log and does nothing.
When click "Run Backup" again AISBackup is "Checking Network Connectiuons" for a while and afterwards reports the missing computer and missing share again and still does nothing.

Hi Markus

I have uploaded a version of AISBackup with the following updates:

Backup with missing network share now works.

Remembers last CD speed selected rather than last speed actually used - different for CD-R and CD-RW.

The display file prior to backup has not been added yet.

Hi Barry,

I had a first look at it and it works fine.

Thanks a lot, the support is great.
