Do new folders get backed up?

Post by cyclone »

I originally created a backup job by starting with a recommended backup job, then adding additional exclusions to directories I didn't want backed up. As time goes on and new directories are created, am I correct that these will by default be backed up unless they fall within another directory which has been excluded?

Thanks,

Bill

Selecting files

As long as the Exclude Files and SubFolders option is used and not the de-select option any new folder will be included in the backup. The easiest way to see if your job is set-up the way you want it is to create a folder and then use the Manage Backup / Modify Files and Folders List to see if it is selected.
