I am running aisbackup 1.10 on my desk top and laptop. Desktop runs windows xp laptop runs millenium. I back up to an external lacie hard drive. most of the material is backed up from the desktop
Occasionally I need to restore from lacie to the laptop.
I do it via open job from backup media and follow the steps but when I get to the point where the main screen says it is gathering informtion the program hangs and device manager says AIS is not reponding.
If I back up from the lap top to lacie it will restore that fine
The lacie is attached to the laptop via a pcmia (?) card

This problem may have been fixed with version 2.0 (pre-release) of AISBackup. Please re-try using this release, and if it still does not work please send us the following files from the backup media:

<job>.bdb
<job>.buz
<job>.bdb.lfn (if it exists)
<job>.bdb.fld (if it exists)

Does AISBackup hang when re-instating the job or when performing a restore?
