More problems with auto running

Sometimes autorunning refuses to update an existing backup, even though there is lots of free space on the disc and even though a manual backup straight afterwards using the same disc works successfully.

Hi Brian
Please send us the <job>.log file showing a job that refused to run.
There are three reasons I can think of:
1/ AISBackup is asking for media that is already loaded (this is incorrect)
2/ The backup is to a media that for some reason is not 'seen' by AISBackup.
3/ The backup is set to run once per day and the backup has already been run that day (This is the O parameter after |, e.g. change "Source to CDM|OUM" to "Source to CDM|UM" to remove once per day)

Auto-running disc based backups

The error message states that neither a blank disc or GENERAL01 was in the drive at the time of backup. Occasionally we have found that discs are not always ‘seen’ by Windows when inserted and may need to be ejected and re-loaded. If a pre-used disc is accessible from Windows Explorer (e.g. GENERAL01) then AISBackup should be able to use it.
We will add messages to the log indicating what was found in each disc writer drive to version 2.

Hi Barry
I'm sending you screenshots of what happened. The first will be a screenshot of the failed backup and the second of the successful backup that I manually performed immediately afterwards.
Auto-run asking for a disc to be loaded, when it is already!

The problem cannot be replicated here. AISBackup build 231 has been changed to display the detected CD/DVD names which may help us resolve the problem. Please send us another screen shot along with the job files the next time the auto-run job asks for the disc to be loaded.

Thanks for sending in the screen shot, this helped identify the area of AISBackup that may niot be working properly.
