When a backup has completed notepad is opened showing the log file. I have the program setup to email the log file to me. How do I prevent notepad from displaying the log file on the computer when the backup has completed? If I don't go to the computer for a week where the backups are taking place I have a bunch of notepad applications open showing the log files for the nights backups.

How do I kill that but keep the log files coming by email?

When setting up jobs to auto-run choose “No Completion Message”. To remove the completion message parameter either set-up the jobs again or work directly with the task scheduler (via Tools / Show MS Task Scheduler) and remove the M or F following the | character, so “My Backup|M” becomes “My Backup|”, The task scheduler will probably ask you to re-enter the password for each job.
