I have 1.10.0.213 trial version.

I try to exclude files *.exe from dir MyDir and all subdirs.

How to do that?

Record like this: MyDir\*.exe in exclusion tab does not work.

AISBackup does not support fuzzy matching of files of folder, and sub-folders therein e.g. c:\windows\*.exe it only supports the files *.exe

We feel that in most circumstances AISBackup is flexible enough with the exclusion options. Individual files may be excluded by using right click / All but this file, files can also be excluded based on size with any of these file exclusions selected for backup if need be, i.e. Exclude all *.exe but then manually select from the exclusions any file you want to backup (As indicated by a yellow check mark).
