Multiple auto backups problem

A new problem has started occurring (it started at about the same time as the problem with the backups not being created correctly, so maybe it's related). If auto run decides that more than one backup needs to run, the second backup will not always run because it still thinks that the first backup disc is in the CD writer. Clicking on refresh makes no difference, but after aborting the backup and running a manual backup instead (using the disc that was being rejected) the backup works fine.
