I'm using Version 1.8.3
The backup destination media is on a different partition on my hard drive - (E:\Backup) The main program is installed on D: drive.
OS is Win98SE. with 512M ram
Is there a reason why the password option is unavailable in option 5, the Emergency System Backup?
When I do an Emergency System Backup, there is not a box to check for password or not. Only a line of text that says: Select to password protect this backup.
(the password box and password protect option works fine and IS VISIBLE for all other types of backups)
Does anyone else have a checkbox with password option when using option #5 (the last one) ie- Emergency System Backup ??
Is this a bug, or is this the way it is susposed to be?
Why no pw option for ESB?
ESB - No password
Hi
There is no password protection with the Emergency System Backup. This backup was intended just to get the basic Windows 95, 98 or ME operating system up and running from a DOS session as quickly as possible. From this Operating system the ‘proper’ restore is to be done, which of course can be a password protected backup.
Barry.
