Hi

We have a mixed network with windows and a Novell server. The machine running AIS Backup 1.7 has maped shares to both windows and Novell servers. It backs up the windows folders fine but complains the Novell server is not on line. It is, and can be accessed by any other programme EXCEPT AIS Backup.

What are we doing wrong???

AISBackup can backup any network drive that is pre-mapped and accessible through Windows. It could be that the AISBackup mapping is not working correctly to your Novell server. We have Users backing up the old Novell 3.1x, which version are you using?

An updated version of AISBackup has been uploaded to:

There were problems accessing some shares from Server 2000/3 where the remote username and password were not the same as the local system. This has been resolved in the updated version of AISBackup. A facility where if Novell needs to display a dialog box has also been enabled, unfortunately we do not have access to NetWare 4.

Please let us know if this version fixes the NetWare backup problem.
