auto select files -windows operating system and the registry
dose these backup the critical files that I download from windows update? if not how did i backup the critical files and updates that I have download that took over 4 days to get. If any one knows where the critical files r save to so i can back them up. Any help would be appreciated
Windows Patches Backup

Did you use Windows Update to download and apply the Critical, Windows XP and Driver Updates? If you did I am pretty sure that the downloaded files are not in a suitable place to be saved and re-applied if you need to re-install Windows. As I mentioned in an earlier post the vast majority of Windows XP patches are available in Service Pack 1, this may be downloaded in its entirety but you may also be able to find it on PC magazine cover mount CD’s.
The only sure way to preserve the Windows XP with patches is to backup everything.
We will look into this further but it will take a few days.
