Version 1.7 and 1.8 compatible?

Just wondering if my ESB CD from 1.7 will work with backups from 1.8. Should I (we) make a new ESB procedure with 1.8?
There is no need to create a new ESB using 1.8.
Version 1.7 of AISBackup will restore all 1.8 backups except the new FTP backups.
