Hello Barry.
Is AISB a good tool for migrating from a windows 10 laptop to a windows 11 laptop? Or are there different file/folder structures that would make it messy?
Thanks for all your help.

Re: moving from windows 10 laptop to windows 11 laptop
Hi John, sorry for the delay answering this.
Provided there is enough room on the new laptop disk you could try shrinking the new drive to make room for the previous Windows 10, when restored to the new partition AISBackup will create a boot entry for it, creating a dual boot system. However, if the new laptop is not compatible with the disk drivers of the old then it will not boot, for example this would not work on my Dell laptop. If it does you could then update Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Probably the best solution is just to retore your data from the Windows 10 backup to the new Windows 11 laptop using the drag and drop method, e,g. drag photos from Windows 10 backup to the new photos folder on the laptop etc.
