There are girls here too. You are fortunate.
Good for you - they probably don't have to work half as hard to accomplish the same thing!

Boot images on CDs
I guess that means I should prepare the floppies before I prepare the CDs. Correct?
Thank you.
Your support is outstanding - as is your program. I tell my friends every chance I get. You guys should make front pages. Or are you one guy?

'Dolph

Updating my installation
Once again, worked like a charm and very easily. I particularly liked the fact that this update almost automatically transfers emergency backups to CDs. I also augmented my Windows startup disk with your files as suggested. What I didn't understand is the step which prepares my CD to be bootable. Is...

Updated installation
I'm still having a problem. I moved the folders as you suggested. I then deleted the old folder. But, when I opened the program to perform a backup, the old folder was re-created and within it was a folder with the emergency backup log file. I checked the file locatons option and made sure that the ...

Bug reporting
I tried the bug report again; same result. I did try what you suggested - Alt-Tab several times without results. And I had to rebout to get the coputer operating again.
But the program is working fine. You have a jewel of a program here.

Installing new version
I followed your instructions and installed the program into a new folder - it worked like a charm. But, I now have both folders, the old and the new. I tried to delete the old folder but the new one stopped working. I had to resarote the old one. Is there any part of the old folder I can delete so a...

Trouble installing new version
I downloaded and installed the latest version yesterday. When I tried to open the program, I was instructed to register it - but I am a registered owner. Also, when I tried to send this as a bug, the program locked up my computer when I hit "send"j

Trouble installing 1.7
I am a registered user of AIS ver. 1.6.3 and have just downloaded ver 1.7. 1. I tried to submit the following as a bug report, but after writing my message, my computer locked up. 2. My present version is installed in "d:/program files/aisbackup". I tried to install the new version in that...

Residual memory after backup
Thank you for your thorough response which was very helpful. As to whether you should "reclaim the file cache" - it depends upon how hard it is for you to do. And only you can be the judge of that. Now that I understand what the problem is, it no longer worries me. In fact, I'm probably go...

Residual memory after backup
After I do a backup, it seems that an awful lot of my memory remains used - far more than before. Is there a way to remove the memory useage left after the backup - short of rebooting?

Found the answer to one problem, not the other
I found the cause of the failure to back up one folder - for some reason or other it was not checked in the list of things to back up.
But I still would like to be able to fix the ability to report a bug.
Thank you.

Failure to backup a folder
I have a folder on my D disk, named "40titude". I needed to restore it but could not find it listed among the other folders on that drive (it was not a new folder). Furthermore, when I tried to report this as a bug, I got as far as hitting "send" when the program locked up and I ...
