I just tried to install this and it also complained that I did not have aisbackup installed, thus I was not able to install. Do you have any suggestions for me to try?

I did not mention this before, but the drives are dynamic and not basic disks, this seems to be the only difference between the two systems I have. ONe works and one does not

I did the reboot, when going into aisbackup and selecting the data to be backed up I am presented with the dialogue box listing 'use vss, close service or dont backup for both the microsoft exchange information store and file replication service. I do notice the tray icon gives me the option to star...

I installed the trial version of FAM on a server 2003, should Aisbackup give me the choice to use either VSS or FAM? it only gives me VSS. Is there something else that needs to be configured. Note that this backup is local and not remote

I know the new Betas take advantage of VSS, and it appears to be baking up the Exchange database, however the transaction logs do not ever get flushed from the system, thus they fill up quite quickly, any insight into this would be appreciated, as a Backup of exchange should in fact delete these log...

I am using the current version of aisbackup, I want to be notified by email, that a job has failed or has had problems, I see where you enter the smtp server and email from address, where do you specify the recipient for the emails? Thanks in advance

Great Product, I have just made the purchase! I am going to be running this on a 2003 server with active Directory, what steps are necessary in order to backup Active Directory? Is it just the registry?
