I see. I'll be looking forward to build 263.
Thanx

Outlook.pst not copying even though other exclusive files do
AISBackup Ver: 2.2.0.262
Windows:
XP Pro
Version 2002
Service Pack 2
This is a Synch mirror job.
My Outlook.pst file will not copy while Outlook is opened.
Although, there are other opened exclusive files that copy fine while in use.
Shouldn't the .pst file copy while in use, just like the others?

AISBackup Ver: 2.1.0.250 Windows: XP Pro Version 2002 Service Pack 2 With optical media I've had no problem. Although I did have a problem in two other scenarios. 1) A synch job from an NTFS local hard drive to a FAT32 USB hard drive. Backup Destination: Copy files to F:\ None I synched these before...

1) Aside from the uses you mentioned, does specifying an encryption seed provide extra security, in general? 2) Any chance a future version will force appropriate deletions of destination files for all scenarios? 3) It sounds like you're saying that standby/hibernation IS delayed while any AISBackup...

Seed visibility. Synching only deletes if other changes
1) Shouldn't the encryption seed be masked (***) instead of being visible in its' text box? 2) Synching jobs do not delete files in the destination unless files have been added or changed in the source. Shouldn't the destination mirror the source under all scenarios? 3) Is system standby / hibernati...

Daylight savings descrepancy
Will file time descrepancies caused by daylight savings be resolved in this version?
If so, will the resolution apply to backups between different types of drives and platforms? NTFS to FAT, WIN XP to Unix FTP server?
Approximately when is version 2.2 being released?
Thanx

Oh ya. I read enough documentation to know this, but for some reason it did not occur to me. Anyway, The read-only attribute being set to true is not a big deal, since I could reset them all with one click after copying back to the hard drive. Thanks for the tip on Roxio - i'm gonna check that out. ...

Any way to synch to optical media?
Is there any way the program can synch (not use zip files) to CD & DVD destinations? The "Backup Job Set-up" feature seems to preclude this option - the first and last choices are... 1) A CD or DVD using the integrated AISBackup CD Writer. 7) Disk to Disk Copy (Clone) or Synchronize Jo...
