I have solved my problem and my problem is NOT related to AISBackup.
Thank you for your help. After checking with the tip you have given, I realized that my PC had a corrupt registry. HKCU was not readable. With some tinkering, it is up and running again.

Hi, I am a Sysadmin in California. I am currently evaluating the AisBackup for home. My problem is after a hardware configuration change, the program behaved very oddly.
