I had a system crash and want to reinstall aisbackup program. Do I download current version or use my old copy. Can I use the old registration key for either?

Original post and bug report went out on the 19th of December. I still lock up backing up the first section of a large file. I sent a 3rd bug report but have not heard anything yet. Installing the new version over the old copy of backup was easy. However, the first part of the back up to cd went as expected. When it tried to copy the info in the application data file (listed by the program as a huge file), it locked up. Cont. alt del was not able to get out of the program. I ha...
