I've not had much time to work on this recently, but I did want to note a few things. First, I think I have user names and passwords in all the correct places. Both the scheduled job and the VPN have login information. I'm logged in when the jobs are scheduled to run in any case. Second, when runnin...

Well, I was unable to delete the job from within AISBackup, but I was able to delete it from the Windows scheduled tasks control panel. After recreating the job, it was no longer missing the job name on the command line. Still, the job is not running as scheduled. One thing I noticed that may or may...

Problem with scheduled disk to disk job
Hi, I just upgraded to Vista and am trying figure out how things work now. I have re-installed AISBackup and re-created the jobs I used to have in Windows XP. Using AISBackup 2.4.0.303 Microsoft Vista Media Center Edition (Build 6000) aka Vista Ultimate I have a job that is a one-way disk-to-disk co...

Leave the account logged in, as Administrator and using a blank password, did not work for me. One other thing that may or may not be relevant was that I was remotely logged in via Terminal Services. I feel pretty certain Administrator was also logged in locally to the console. I don't know if that ...

Scheduling problem on Windows Server 2003
Hi, it's me again! I am again working on a Windows 2003 server, attempting to schedule a backup job to run nightly at 1:00 AM. The backup job is to a USB drive. I have checked and double-checked that I specified a user name (Administrator) and the appropriate password. The backup job works fine inte...

That is a fairly complex topic... If it is any help, as a user I did not *expect* that the D: drive was going to be backed up when I clicked on the C: drive. I would have been perfectly happy if only a blank directory (the mount point) were included as the backup. In fact, I intended to backup the D...

Think I found it
After playing around with this more this morning, I noticed an unusual configuration. The machine's Drive D: partition is actually mounted under the C:\Program Files\Some Program directory. When I de-selected this folder, the problem I described above went away. Oh, and the machine was actually Wind...

Problem doing Full C: Drive backup on Windows 2000 Server
Hi, I downloaded the current version of AISBackup and installed it to a friend's Windows 2000 Server (I'm trying to convince him to buy it ). I tried to setup a full backup of the C: drive using the Quick Job button, first to a network drive and then to the local C:\Backups folder, neither of ...

DVD backup question
Hi, This is a continuation of my huge file backup question under version 2.2. I have a 17 disc DVD backup that was recorded using version 2.2 and the integrated CD writing software. I recently upgraded to version 2.3 build 279 and ran the job again since there are 2 new files to backup. AISBackup as...
