Sre there any other FTP based options planned or implemented? e.g. logging more detailed ftp errors in the log indicating stalls/ftp delays or errors, retry/timeout options etc.
And thanks for the beta update.

FTP Stalls
♠AISBackup Ver 2.2.0.271 Windows Server 2003 SP1 I have a backup job that backups up a local Win2k3 server to a remote FTP site. The backup runs fine, but during ftp uploads it stalls all the time until the timeout ends, then it uploads each backup file/chunk fine. I know there isn't a pro...

I currently have it set to a low setting, I doa full backup everynight and also am using your ftp as you go feature. I currently only have a few test sites on my machine, all I can say is often (not always) and depending on when my monitoring apps check poll the machine (i.e. a cpu, memory usage and...

As there is no way to throttle how much CPU AISBackup consumes, and the priority doesn't really help on relatively inactive machines or servers. e.g. If a backup kicks off on a machine with a web server (even set to run at low priority), the backup will peg the processor so that the web server can’t...

Include Registry Backup in regular job?
You can backup the registry using the tools menu, but is there a way (or a check box somewhere) within a job defination to backup the registry? Seems to me it would be handy (unless it has to lock the reg. or otherwise kills the box while the reg. is being dumped)... Also (as I posted in the feature...

EMail Backup Log Option?
I have scheduled my install to email me confirmation of my backup job and it's summary information each night - is there (or could there be) an option to check off that would include the log file of the backup job as an attachment to the status email? It would come in handy when troubleshooting or c...

Adding a pre-run option would be good as stopping and starting the MS SQL service isn't really an option, running an osql command to dump selected databases to a file is less invasive. Good idea to add the service control into the product though - i'm sure i'll find a use for it ;-)... The pre-run c...
