Create a new backup and everything works fine. Job calcs, starts, says about 188k files and at about 55k files backed up the program closes with no error. PLENTY of space on the backup drive.

Registered copy, old user. Win 8.1 computer (1st time trying to back it up) Tried multiple times with the same "error"

This is fixed in the current pre-release version of AISBackup.

Please click the website menu option Downloads / AISBackup Beta and download.

This version is pretty close to actual release -- with a few small updates.

computer doesn't have appquota.db but does have appquota.edb and it's in a bit different path.

Still try the beta and get build 439?

Yes, the problem may have affected more Windows 8.1 files.

Thanks, the beta works with no problems.

One other question. My wife clicked something wrong so how do we get the "make bootable" back. The question normally asked about "modify files"
